Summary of the Case:
In the evening of the 4th of February, Alarm Phone was contacted by a concerned relative, alerting us to a group of 3 people who had landed on Kos. According to the relative, the group was in need of support. The relative also reported that one of them was sick and frequently got dizzy due to fatigue. At 20:56 CET we alerted the Hellenic Coast Guard (HCG) via email about the group. At 21:41 CET we got back in contact with the relative and found out that these 3 people were part of a group of 16 who had split-up, with the 3 people staying at the beach. Later, the 3 managed to reunite with the rest of the group who were on their way to the camp. At 22:40 CET we sent another email to authorities, to share this new information. At 22:58 CET, after several attempts to get through, we called the police directorate for the area for the third time in a row and spoke with them. The officer said that the people had been found and that the people were being taken to reception center on Kos.
