Summary of the Case:
In the afternoon of the 25th of January, Alarm Phone was contacted by a person who told us that they had arrived in foot in Belgrade in Serbia and were in a very bad condition. Later told us that he had no money and nothing to eat or drink or a place to sleep and the weather was really cold. He had come from Turkey on foot and had now injuries on his feet.

As he did not want to pass on his GPS-location our of fear but he was obviously in Belgrade, we sent him all relevant contacts and addresses of places where he could hopefully get help. We could not help him any further but we hope he received the help and assistance he needed!

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets. In the open sea, it usually correspond to the outer extent of the contiguous zone, the area in which “State may exercise the control necessary to prevent infringement of its customs, fiscal, immigration or sanitary laws” (UNCLOS, art. 33).
