Summary of the Case:

In the morning of the 23rd of January, the Alarm Phone was alerted by a concerned relative to a group of 37 people, including including 7 children, 10 women and 20 men, who had arrived on the island of Lesvos in Greece. We were informed that some of them were injured and in need of urgent medical assistance.
At 08:44 CET we sent an email to inform Greek authorities, Frontex and NGOs on the island of the group’s situation and location, informing them that the people needed medical attention and wanted to claim asylum in Greece. Later that day we learned from a person of another group who joined this group that the people were all found by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and had arrived at the camp.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
