Summary of the Case: On 6 November at 16:06h CET our shiftteam got informed about two people who had stranded in the north of Nimos. One of them was in a critical condition and had fallen unconcious, as the Alarm Phone learned after communicating with the other person at 16:25h. Our team alerted the Greek coastguard by email and call at around 16:40h and stayed in contact with the stranded travellers. In the next hour the Alarm Phone called the authorities to gain knowledge about the procedure. They were told the search is ongoing. Luckily at 18:20h Simi port police informed the shift team that the travellers have been picked up and at 19:08h the travellers themselves confirmed to be safe.
